The Hiller Aviation Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate, was founded by helicopter pioneer Stanley Hiller, Jr., and opened to the public in June 1998. It has more than 50 aircraft from more than a century of aviation history. The Hiller Aircraft Company operated between 1944 and 1964.
